Trees, so sweet like a kiss.
The dying autumn leaves,
Drift with a luminescent bliss.
The moonlight shimmers
On a majestic night.
Gravel crunching underfoot
With the stars shining their light.

The wind chills her shoulders
It wisps around her torso
She pulls her cloak tighter
She stands straighter, bolder.
Her demonic black hair,
Curled almost to perfection.
She stamps the puddles on the ground
Disillusioning her pale reflections.

(In truth, I actually began composing this in 2011, but never finished it until now.)
